BHUTAN DRUK PATH TREK


It is a short trek leading from Paro to Thimphu or vice versa crossing the chain of mountains that separate these two valleys. Although the route is sparsely populated, there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is famous for its spectacular rhododendron forests, which bloom in May. In the clear weather of late autumn and winter there are great view of the Himalayas.

Day 01 : Arrive Paro
Day 02 : Paro – Jele Dzong
Day 03 : Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha
Day 04 : Jangchulakha – Jimilangtsho
Day 05 : Jimilangtsho – Simkot
Day 06 : Simkot – Phajoding
Day 07 : Phajoding – Thimphu
Day 08 : Thimphu – Paro
Day 09 : Paro. Departure.
