Trishuli (grade 2/4+) (1/5 days)
The Trishuli River is one of the most popular,
if not the favorite of Nepal's raftable rivers. The Trishuli
white water trip is exciting, fun and safe for all
age groups. It can be arranged for a day to 3 days
or more of rafting depending where we commence from
and where we end the trip. It is recommended for
intermediate Kayakers. Due to its proximity to Kathmandu
and the easy road access, the trips on the Trishuli
are mostly offered to tourists. The Trishuli river
trip can be combined with trips to Pokhara or to
Chitwan. For first time rafters it offers plenty
of excitement.
Kali Gandaki (grade 4/5+) (5/8 days)
It is a beautiful unspoilt river with good white water,
gorges, wildlife offering a feeling of remoteness.
It is recommended for people looking for an exciting
medium-length raft trip. We recommend combining this
river with a trek before hand in the Annapurna region.
It starts from Galeswore near Beni and one can raft
down to Ramdighat in five days. The clients may then
continue on to the confluence with the Trishuli at
Devighat, adding another 130kms & four days. Kaligandaki
is a sacred Hindu river where the rapids are technically
challenging, winding through canyons & gorges.
Seti River (grade 2/3) (2/3 days)
Seti is a unique river passing through two beautiful
and contrasting scenic areas. It is a scenic, unspoilt
and easy two day raft trip on a small volume, blue
water and friendly river. The trip starts from Damauli
and ends at Gaighat. It may continue on to Amaltarighat
if participants wish to raft into the Chitwan National
Park.
Upper Sunkoshi (Bhote Koshi) (grade 2/3) (1/2 days)
This is a one or two day trip that offers one of the
most challenging short rafting trips in Nepal. It starts
from Khandichour or Lamosangu near Barabise to Balefi
and ends at Dolalghat. The river is lined with clean
sandy beaches, which make for great picnic or camping
spots. The trip offers a great family getaway, far
from the maddening crowd.
Sun Koshi (grade 4/6) (8/9 days)
It is one of the ten best rafting trips in the world.
Big rapids, warm water, no roads or towns, beautiful
scenery and great camping make this a classic multi-day
river trip. Rafters should be reasonably fit & comfortable
on big water. The trip starts from Dolalghat and ends
at Chatara in the southern Terai close to the Indian
border. The participants can either drive back from
Chatara or drive to Biratnagar and fly to Kathmandu.

The raging Marsyangdi is four days of continuous white
water. It begins from the village of Ngadi, one day
trek up from Besishahar and ends at Bimalnagar near
Mugling. The rapids are unrelenting. For people looking
for a 5-6 days trip with raging rapids, the Marsyangdi
river is definitely very appropriate.
Arun River (grade 4/5+) (5/6 days)
The trip requires a mini-trek either from the Tumlingtar
airstrip or from the bus stop. The Arun River begins
at Tumlingtar & ends at Chatara. The following
day, after breakfast, trek to Kartikeghat starts at
a gradual pace. The third day, a rapid is hit as soon
as sailing starts. Next day is pretty smooth except
for a few big rapids graded between 5 and 6. The sixth
day is pretty smooth as the Arun meets Sunkoshi river.
